Working Groups

Working Groups are a core way that EPI builds inclusive communities. Working Groups are made up of students, administrators, staff, and faculty. Working Groups create their own agendas and projects through a process of collaborating, brainstorming, and listening to each other. In the past year, for example, Bridging Campus and Local Communities Working Group has been focused on increasing wifi accessibility in the wider Poughkeepsie community; the Inclusive Pedagogy and Curriculum Working Group has developed a student-faculty partnership program called STEPP (Student-Teacher Engaged Pedagogical Partnership); Capacity Building Working Group has been engaged in a project called “400 Years of Inequality.”
